Structured Hour Building

Candidates who have completed the Private Pilot Licence and are looking to undertake a Commercial Pilot Licence will need to have completed a minimum of 162 hours flight time. Our Structured Hours Building module ensures students obtain the flight time they require, under the supervision of Airlines Pilots with extensive experience in training, while gaining additional skills and experience in airline based competencies.

Course Structure

During your Structured Hours Building you will typically complete:

  • Flying Hours to reach minimum 162 hours prior to CPL training
  • 1 in 10 hours free flight supervision from our instructors
  • In addition, you will also undertake competency-based assessments in:
  • leadership and management skills
  • teamwork
  • decision making
  • situational awareness
