Aviator Flight Center offers the Differences Training course on the Diamond DA40 TDI that will allow a pilot to be qualified to operate different variants of the same type of aircraft. The Differences Training course covers all of the required theoretical knowledge based on the manufacturers’ Pilots Operating Handbook, airplane Checklist, other Pilot notes and the ASA G1000 Computer Based Training, followed by practical training on the airplane including comprehensive briefing and de-briefing. The instructor will consider carefully the experience of the student and check in their logbook for any previous differences training which is claimed.
Course Objectives
The course has be designed so that the Trainees are given adequate theoretical knowledge and flight training in order to ensure they are capable of safely operating the aeroplane with the SLPC and EFIS whilst flying in weather conditions appropriate to the Visual Flight Rules. The airplane to be used on this Course will be the Diamond DA40 TDI (Registration G-DIAM).
Pre Entry Requirements: Pre entry requirements and course syllabi are primarily established for holders of a JAR-FCL license. Holders of other than JAR-FCL licenses would have to investigate with their Civil Aviation Authority whether our courses fulfill their licensing requirements. The trainee shall hold a valid Class Rating on the aircraft type that the trainee shall receive difference training from. If the rating is not valid, the difference training must at least be equal to required refresher training. |
